Moutsinga: Al Ahli Madani Ready to Exploit Tusker Weaknesses in Decider

NAIROBI, Kenya — Al Ahli Madani winger Jean-Marc Moutsinga has declared that the Sudanese side have carefully analysed Tusker FC and are prepared to exploit their weaknesses when the two teams meet in the decisive second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round tie on Saturday.

The match will take place at Nyayo National Stadium, with the aggregate score currently locked at 2-2. Tusker had led 2-0 in the first leg in Kigali before Al Ahli fought back to force a draw.

Moutsinga, who featured in the opening encounter, said the experience of facing the Kenyan side has given his team a clear picture of where they can hurt the Brewers.

“We have scouted them as we played against them. We saw their strengths and their weakness. So we're going to use their weaknesses in our game, and I feel we will go for their weaknesses. Our ambition is to get to the group stage,” the 20-year-old winger said.

The South African-born attacker, who has a Cameroonian father, underlined the importance of the fixture for Al Ahli’s continental ambitions.

“It's a must for us to beat Tusker. We get to the second preliminary, and we go through the group stages,” he added.

Moutsinga made his CAF Confederation Cup debut in the first leg and has quickly become part of a side that showed resilience by recovering from a two-goal deficit. The young winger’s confidence reflects the belief within the Al Ahli camp that they can cause an upset on Kenyan soil.

Tusker, meanwhile, will be determined to protect their home advantage after surrendering a strong position in Rwanda. The Brewers know that a victory will take them into the next round, while Al Ahli require a win or a favourable draw to progress.

The second leg promises to be a tense and tactical battle. Both teams have already demonstrated they can score against each other, and the side that manages the key moments more effectively is likely to advance.

For Moutsinga and Al Ahli Madani, the message is clear: they have identified areas to attack and will arrive at Nyayo with the firm intention of ending Tusker’s continental campaign at the first hurdle while pushing their own group-stage dream forward.
