Relebohile Mofokeng was the standout performer, scoring twice as Pitso Mosimane’s side followed up their opening 2–1 victory over Guinea with another emphatic win.
South Africa took control in the 19th minute when Mofokeng finished from inside the box after being played through by Oswin Appollis.
The young attacker doubled the advantage in first-half stoppage time, producing another composed finish to give Bafana Bafana a 2–0 lead at the break.
South Africa continued their dominance after the interval and added a third goal in the 52nd minute through Yaya Sithole, who fired home from inside the box.
Iqraam Rayners then extended the lead to 4–0 in the 63rd minute following another assist from Appollis.
Luther Singh completed the scoring in stoppage time as South Africa put five goals past the Red Sea Camels.

The victory gives South Africa six points from their opening two Group D matches and keeps Mosimane’s team at the top of the qualifying race.
Eritrea, meanwhile, remain on one point after opening their campaign with a 1–1 draw against Kenya in Nairobi.
South Africa will now turn their attention to their next Group D fixture as they continue their pursuit of qualification for AFCON 2027.
