According to reports, the club is prepared to offer the 33-year-old a short-term contract with a significantly reduced salary compared to his previous spell in Casablanca.
Lorch first joined Wydad on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns in February 2025, later making the move permanent. He scored 11 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions before leaving for Libyan side Al-Ittihad Tripoli in February 2026.
Despite the lower terms on offer, Lorch is understood to be open to a return and is prepared to accept most of the conditions laid down by the Moroccan club.
Negotiations are ongoing, with no final agreement reached yet.
