As one of the higher-ranked Moroccan sides, Berkane join other leading clubs exempted from the opening round of the continental campaign. The first preliminary round draw is scheduled for 6 August 2026 at CAF headquarters in Cairo.
The bye affords RS Berkane additional preparation time as they look to make another strong impression in Africa’s premier club competition.
