Raphael Onyedika Completes Move to Eintracht Frankfurt

FRANKFURT, Germany — Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika has completed his transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt from Belgian club Club Brugge.

The Super Eagles international has joined the Bundesliga side in a deal worth €10 million. Onyedika opted for the move to Frankfurt despite interest and bids from Saudi clubs.

The 25-year-old central midfielder, who was under contract with Club Brugge until 2027, has now linked up with his new club. Known for his physical presence, ball-winning ability and composure in possession, Onyedika becomes a key addition to Eintracht Frankfurt’s midfield for the new season.

Onyedika joined Club Brugge from FC Midtjylland in 2022 and established himself as an important player in the Belgian champions’ engine room. His switch to the Bundesliga marks the next step in his career as he continues to feature regularly for Nigeria.
