Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved hosting rights for the 17th edition of the gathering. All 36 NNL clubs are expected in the state capital from 20 to 22 August.
Top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), including President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, are also scheduled to attend.
Key items on the agenda include the season roadmap, club licensing, and proposed amendments to NNL rules.
The meeting is expected to set the framework for the new campaign in Nigeria’s second-tier football league.
