Mighty Wanderers Drawn Against Simba SC in CAF Champions League

CAIRO, Egypt — Malawian champions Mighty Wanderers have been drawn against Tanzanian giants Simba SC in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Champions League.

The draw, held on Thursday at CAF headquarters in Cairo, paired the two sides in a two-legged tie.

Simba SC will begin the contest away from home before hosting the return leg in Dar es Salaam. The first legs are scheduled for 4–6 September 2026, with the second legs set for 11–13 September.

The winner will advance to the second preliminary round, where they will face either 15 de Agosto (Equatorial Guinea) or Fomboni Club (Comoros).
