DURBAN, South Africa — Lamontville Golden Arrows have officially confirmed the signing of Zimbabwe international midfielder Jonah Fabisch.
The 24-year-old has joined Abafana Bes’thende on a free transfer after leaving German third-tier side Erzgebirge Aue at the end of last season.
Fabisch, who was born in Nairobi and is eligible for Germany, chose to represent Zimbabwe at senior level through his maternal links. He impressed during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, featuring in all of the Warriors’ group-stage matches and providing an assist against South Africa.
The versatile midfielder arrives in the Betway Premiership with valuable European experience after developing his game in Germany, where he made over 200 appearances across various levels and contributed goals and assists.
Golden Arrows moved decisively to secure his signature, beating competition from other top-flight clubs. Fabisch is expected to strengthen the midfield as the KwaZulu-Natal side prepare for the new campaign.
