GQEBERHA, South Africa — Chippa United have been officially cleared after FIFA lifted the transfer ban that had restricted the club’s ability to register new players.
The Chilli Boys no longer appear on FIFA’s official list of clubs under a transfer ban, allowing them to freely conduct transfer business both domestically and internationally.
FIFA updates its transfer ban list every Monday, which is when the latest changes become publicly visible. The lifting of the sanction ends a period of restriction that had limited the Gqeberha-based side’s recruitment options.
With the ban now removed, Chippa United are free to strengthen their squad as they continue preparations for the ongoing Betway Premiership campaign.
