CAIRO, Egypt — The Confederation of African Football has confirmed the host nations for several upcoming youth tournaments across the 2026-27 cycle.
Ghana will stage the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2027. The tournament is scheduled to take place in February and March next year.
Morocco has been selected to host the TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations 2027, which will be held in April and May.
Egypt will organise the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations 2027. The competition will also serve as the continental qualifying tournament for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
In East Africa, Tanzania will host the CECAFA U-20 AFCON qualifiers, scheduled to run from 19 September to 10 October 2026. The U-17 AFCON CECAFA qualifiers will follow in the same country from 14 to 19 October 2026.
The confirmations form part of CAF’s ongoing preparations for its youth competitions in the coming seasons.
