The club officially announced the decision, with Ayeleso taking over the armband following the departures of former captain Abdulaziz Musa and vice-captain Kabiru Muhammad at the end of last season.

Ayeleso began his professional career with ABS FC of Ilorin before going on to feature for Nasarawa United, Kano Pillars and Plateau United in the NPFL. The experienced shot-stopper has been a regular presence between the posts for the Harmony Boys and now assumes leadership responsibilities.
His appointment reflects the club’s confidence in his experience and influence within the squad as Kwara United prepare for the new campaign.
