The West African side swept the quarter-final encounter in straight sets, winning 25-8, 25-14, 25-16 at the Pioneer Club venue in Alexandria.

Nigeria controlled the match from the outset, racing to a commanding first-set win before maintaining their intensity throughout. The second and third sets followed a similar pattern as the Nigerians’ superior attacking play and solid defence left Libya with little response.
The result books Nigeria’s place in the last four, where they will face Cameroon for a spot in the final.
The championship, organised by the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB), runs until 30 July and features 14 national teams from across the continent.
