GLASGOW, Scotland — Nigeria sit fourth on the 2026 Commonwealth Games medal table after a productive Day 4 of competition on Monday, 27 July, with a haul of six gold medals and four silvers.
The Team Nigeria contingent has collected 10 medals in total so far (6 gold, 4 silver, 0 bronze), placing them ahead of hosts Scotland and just behind Australia, England and Canada.

Nigeria’s six golds have been the standout feature of their campaign to date, underlining the strength of the African nation’s contingent across the 10-sport programme. The team has yet to claim a bronze medal but remains firmly in the top five with several days of competition still remaining.
The Games run until 2 August, with athletics, swimming, weightlifting, gymnastics and other disciplines still offering multiple medal opportunities. Nigeria will look to build on their strong start as the competition intensifies in Glasgow.
