The 31-year-old forward joins the Ndola-based club on a free transfer following spells in Israel with Hapoel Ramat Gan and Hapoel Nof HaGalil. He becomes an important addition to ZESCO’s attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Musonda’s career has taken him across several of Zambia’s leading clubs. He previously featured for Lusaka Dynamos, Zanaco, Green Eagles and Power Dynamos, where his goals helped secure the 2022/23 MTN Super League title.
He later moved to Tanzanian giants Young Africans (Yanga SC), enjoying domestic success, before testing himself overseas in the Israeli second tier.
An established Chipolopolo international, Musonda was part of Zambia’s squad at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and contributed key goals during the qualifying campaign.
The experienced striker’s return strengthens ZESCO United as they look to improve on recent domestic performances and compete strongly in the Super League.
