Mosengo-Omba questioned the structure of a championship that operates without relegation, suffers from an irregular calendar, experiences frequent delays to seasons, and sees too many decisions settled in administrative offices rather than on the pitch.
He stressed that rebuilding Congolese football will demand strict regulations, greater discipline and a fundamental change in mentality across the game. The FECOFA chief also warned clubs that personal relationships will no longer be used to bypass the rules.
“No club is above the others when it comes to regulations,” Mosengo-Omba has emphasised in recent communications, insisting that the application of texts must not suffer any favouritism.
