Goals from Kamaradini Mamudu and Salim Adams secured all three points for Guy Bukasa’s side and placed them top of the group after the opening round of fixtures.

Tusker pushed forward in search of an equaliser in the closing stages, but Al Hilal remained clinical on the counter. In stoppage time (90+4'), Salim Adams finished calmly to seal the result.
The win leaves Al Hilal in a strong position at the top of Group C, with the remaining fixture between hosts Rayon Sports and Zanzibar’s KVZ SC still to be completed.
