Al Hilal Crush KVZ 4-0 to Strengthen Grip on Group C

KIGALI, Rwanda — Al Hilal of Sudan delivered a dominant display to thrash KVZ FC 4-0 in their Group C Matchday 2 clash at the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup on Wednesday afternoon.

The Sudanese giants were clinical from the outset at the Kigali Pele Stadium, racing into a two-goal lead before half-time and adding two more late goals to complete a comprehensive victory and keep a clean sheet.

Muhammed Yousif opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before Ahmed M’Bareck doubled the advantage in the 29th minute. Ansumana Samura made it 3-0 in the 80th minute, and Akile Temple Taiwo rounded off the scoring in the 90th minute.

The result extends Al Hilal’s perfect start in the competition. They now sit top of Group C with six points from two matches, having scored six goals and conceded none after their earlier 2-0 win over Tusker FC.

KVZ remain without a point after two defeats and will look to bounce back in their remaining fixture. Al Hilal next face Rayon Sports as they continue their push for a place in the knockout stages.
