Valarie Allman Delivers Commanding Win in Women’s Discus Throw at Xiamen Diamond League
The women’s discus throw at the Xiamen Diamond League produced a dominant display from the United States’ Valarie Allman, who powered to victory with a massive 68.45m throw, comfortably clearing the field and reaffirming her status as one of the world’s elite throwers.
Allman’s winning mark was more than enough to secure top spot, as she finished well ahead of her closest challengers in a high-quality international field.
Bin Feng and Jorinde van Klinken Complete the Podium
China’s Bin Feng secured second place with a strong effort of 65.03m, while the Netherlands’ Jorinde van Klinken claimed third after throwing 64.27m in a competitive battle for the podium positions.
Despite their solid performances, both athletes were unable to match Allman’s exceptional distance, as she controlled the event from early on and never relinquished the lead.

A Statement Performance from Allman
The result further underlines Valarie Allman’s consistency at the highest level of athletics. Her ability to deliver throws close to 70 metres continues to set her apart, especially in major Diamond League competitions.
Bin Feng and Jorinde van Klinken both showed strong form, but on this occasion, they had no answer to the American’s power and precision.
With another commanding Diamond League victory, Valarie Allman continues to set the standard in women’s discus throw. As the season progresses, attention now turns to whether any competitor can close the gap to her dominant form.
