Wycombe Wanderers Progress in Carabao Cup with 2-0 Win Over Wigan

Wycombe Wanderers have secured their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a comfortable 2-0 victory over fellow League One side Wigan Athletic. The Chairboys delivered a professional performance at the Brick Community Stadium on Tuesday to advance in the competition.

Goals from Caolan Boyd-Munce and Donnell McNeilly sealed the win for Wycombe. Boyd-Munce opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a superb curling strike from the edge of the box. The victory was secured just after the hour mark when Donnell McNeilly headed in to score his first professional goal for the club.

The win marks a significant achievement for Wycombe, as they reach the fourth round of the competition for the first time since the 2006/07 season. The result also continues the positive momentum for the side under new manager Michael Duff.
