Villarreal Mounts Comeback to Edge Out Osasuna

Villarreal secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Osasuna in a La Liga match, completing a second-half comeback at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

The visitors took the lead just before halftime through a penalty converted by Ante Budimir in the 45th minute. However, Villarreal responded strongly after the break.

New signing Georges Mikautadze leveled the score in the 69th minute, marking his first goal for the club. The comeback was sealed late in the game when Pape Gueye found the back of the net in the 85th minute, securing all three points for the Yellow Submarine. The win lifts Villarreal into 3rd place in the league standings.
