However, according to a report from PWInsider Elite, any speculation about Copeland returning to WWE—even with AEW's blessing—to wrestle Cena is completely unfounded.

The most probable reason for the "Rated R Superstar’s" upcoming absence is his commitment to Hollywood. Production is set to begin next month for the next season of Disney+'s Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, where Copeland is expected to reprise his role as Ares, The God of War.
