Nigerian international and Super Eagles' number one goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, was the hero for Chippa United as he saved a late penalty to help his side secure a valuable point in a 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United.
In a dramatic conclusion to the Betway Premiership clash, the referee pointed to the spot in the 92nd minute after a foul inside the box. With the match poised at 1-1, Sekhukhune’s Bradley Grobler stepped up to take the decisive penalty. However, Nwabali produced a brilliant save, diving to his left to deny the striker and keep the score level.
