Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has joined Turkish side Trabzonspor on a season-long loan for the duration of the 2025/26 season. The move was officially announced today, just ahead of the Turkish transfer window closing on Friday.The 29-year-old Cameroon international joined the Reds in July 2023 from Italian giants Inter. In his two seasons at the club, Onana made a total of 102 appearances, and he was part of the squad that famously lifted the Emirates FA Cup after a 2-1 victory over rivals Manchester City at Wembley Stadium in his first year.
Onana, who played 50 times in his second campaign at Old Trafford, will now spend the season in Turkey to continue his career development. Manchester United has wished their no. 24 good luck during his loan spell.
