The D'Tigers came out strong, establishing an early lead and showcasing their intent to control the game from the start. They closed the first quarter ahead by 29-16 and went into halftime with a comfortable 48-33 lead. Despite attempts by Tunisia to fight back, Nigeria maintained their momentum, extending their lead to 21 points by the end of the third quarter.
The star of the match was undoubtedly NBA guard Josh Okogie, who delivered a clutch performance, tallying an impressive 33 points to inspire the D'Tigers to a blowout win. Okogie’s scoring prowess and leadership were key in steering Nigeria to victory and ensuring they never lost control of the game.
