Newcastle Offered Dusan Vlahović as Potential Alexander Isak Replacement

Newcastle United have been given the opportunity to sign Serbian striker Dusan Vlahović from Juventus, according to sources in Italy. The offer comes as Juventus, having recently signed Jonathan David, are looking to offload Vlahović from their wage bill.

Juventus have reportedly made it known they are willing to accept offers of around €30 million for the 25-year-old forward. The Italian club has seemingly put Vlahović on the market as a potential replacement for Newcastle's Alexander Isak, who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool.

However, as it stands, Newcastle are not currently planning to pursue the deal. It is also unclear if Vlahović, who has a history with multiple top European clubs, would be open to a move to St. James' Park. This indicates that Newcastle's primary focus remains on keeping Isak, despite the ongoing transfer speculation.

The Magpies' search for a striker is not limited to Vlahović. The club remains keen on Brentford's Yoane Wissa and is expected to make a second bid for Wolves' Jorgen Strand-Larsen, even though Wolves insist they have no intention of selling the Norwegian striker. The situation remains fluid as the transfer deadline approaches.
