Togo U20 Begins Final Preparations Ahead of WAFU B U20 Cup

Togo’s U20 men’s national team is set to enter a crucial phase of preparation for the 3rd edition of the WAFU B U20 Cup, as they begin an intensive training camp in Lomé from June 30 to July 8, 2025.

Head coach Messan Amétokodo has called up a squad of 28 players, drawn from both domestic leagues and international clubs in Spain, Germany, and Ghana, reflecting a balanced mix of local talent and overseas experience.

This training camp follows a 1-1 draw in a friendly against Benin on June 11 and is designed to consolidate tactical progress, build team cohesion, and shape a highly competitive squad for the regional tournament.

The selected players are expected to report to the FTF headquarters in Kégué at 9:00 AM on June 30, as the Togolese team ramps up preparations for what promises to be a fiercely contested WAFU B competition.

All eyes will be on Amétokodo’s side as they look to make a strong impact on the regional stage.
