Rachid Muratake Wins 110m Hurdles Heat in Season’s Best at Paris Diamond League

Japanese hurdler Rachid Muratake stormed to a season’s best (SB) of 13.08s (1.4 m/s) to clinch victory in the first heat of the men’s 110m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League meet.

It was a thrilling photo finish as Dylan Beard of the United States also clocked 13.08s, marking a new personal best (PB) for the fast-rising American. Beard narrowly missed out on the top spot but showcased impressive form and potential heading into the finals.

Another American, Trey Cunningham, was just a whisker behind, finishing third with 13.10s in a closely contested race that underlined the depth of talent in the sprint hurdles field.
