The Female YellowGreens have officially departed Lagos for Kigali, Rwanda, as they gear up to represent Nigeria at the Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament — an annual cricket event held in honour of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
The team will kick off their campaign on June 3rd against Zimbabwe Emerging Women at the Gahanga B Oval. With high spirits, strong preparation, and growing support from fans back home, Nigeria’s women’s cricket team is ready to make a bold statement on the continental stage.
