Chelsea and AC Milan remain far from reaching an agreement over a potential deal for goalkeeper Mike Maignan, with a significant gap in valuation causing talks to stall.
AC Milan are demanding around €30 million for the French international, while Chelsea have made it clear they value Maignan closer to €10 million, pointing to his contract running until 2026.
Sources indicate that Chelsea are not prepared to wait beyond Monday to make a decision, as the club is also content with the four goalkeepers currently in their squad. Unless Milan lower their asking price, Chelsea are expected to walk away from negotiations.
With time ticking and no breakthrough in sight, the deal now hangs in the balance.
