Arsenal have opened active negotiations to sign highly-rated centre-back Christian Mosquera from Valencia, as the Gunners look to strengthen their defensive ranks ahead of the new season.
The 20-year-old Spaniard is among Arsenal's top targets for the centre-back position, with discussions already underway between the clubs. Valencia and Mosquera’s camp are fully aware of the Premier League side’s interest, and crucially, the player is currently prioritizing a move to North London.
Mosquera, known for his composure, aerial presence, and ball-playing ability, fits the profile of a modern defender sought by Mikel Arteta. If talks progress smoothly, he could become a key addition to Arsenal’s squad as they prepare for another push for domestic and European honors.
Further developments are expected in the coming days.
