Quincy Hall marked his return to the track with a solid 45.99s performance in the men’s 400m at the Keqiao Diamond League, opening his season with a composed run after a lengthy injury layoff.
This was Hall’s first race since claiming Olympic gold in Paris, where he sustained an injury during the final. The American quarter-miler looked smooth and controlled as he eased through the lap, showing signs that he’s steadily regaining top form.
While not his fastest time, the outing was a promising step for Hall as he builds toward full race sharpness in what promises to be another big season.
