History Made! Lachlan Kennedy Breaks 10s Barrier with 9.98s at Kip Keino Classic

Australia's Lachlan Kennedy has etched his name in history with a stunning Personal Best of 9.98s (-0.7) to win the men’s 100m at the Kip Keino Classic.

Kennedy becomes only the second Australian man ever to break the 10-second barrier, joining Patrick Johnson, who last achieved the feat in 2003.

It was a thrilling race as Kennedy held off South Africa’s Bayanda Walaza who clocked 10.03s for second, while Kenyan sprint star Ferdinand Omanyala finished third in 10.07s.
