Banyana Banyana Announce Provisional Squad for 2025 WAFCON

South Africa’s senior women’s national team, Banyana Banyana, has named a provisional squad for the upcoming CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to be held in Morocco from 5–26 July 2025.

Head coach Dr Desiree Ellis has assembled a strong blend of local stars and overseas-based talent as South Africa look to defend their WAFCON crown. The preliminary list will be trimmed ahead of the final tournament.
