2024 Paris Olympics: Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Announces Team Nigeria Track and Field Roster

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has officially released the list of athletes set to represent Nigeria at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Team Nigeria will compete across nine events in both the men's and women's categories, including the Mixed 4x400m relay.

The team comprises a mix of experienced Olympians and emerging talents, aiming to bring home medals and make Nigeria proud on the global stage.

Men's Team:
- 100m: Favour Ashe, Godson Brume, Kayinsola Ajayi
- 200m: Udodi Onwuzurike
- 400m: Chidi Okezie, Samuel Ogazi
- 800m: Edose Ibadin
- 400m Hurdles: Ezekiel Nathaniel
- Javelin: Prosper Chinecherem
- Shot Put: Chukwuebuka Enekwechi
- 4x100m Relay: Alaba Akintola, Favour Ashe, Godson Brume, Kayinsola Ajayi, Udodi Onwuzurike, Usheoritse Itsekiri
- 4x400m Relay: Chidi Okezie, Dubem Amene, Dubem Nwoko, Ifeanyi Ojeli, Samuel Ogazi

Women's Team:
- 100m: Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, Tima Godbless
- 200m: Favour Ofili
- 400m: Ella Onojuvwevwo, Esther Elo Joseph
- 100m Hurdles: Tobi Amusan
- Long Jump: Ese Brume, Ruth Usoro, Prestina Ochonogor
- High Jump: Temitope Adesina
- Hammer Throw: Sade Olatoye, Ashley Anumba, Chioma Onyekwere, Obiageri Amaechi
- 4x100m Relay: Favour Ofili, Justina Eyakpobeyan, Olayinka Olajide, Rosemary Chukwuma, Tima Godbless

Mixed 4x400m Relay:
- Ella Onojuvwevwo, Esther Elo Joseph, Israel Okon Sunday, Patience Okon-George, Omolara Omotosho, Imaobong Nse Uko, Chidi Okezie, Sikiru Adeyemi
