Edo Queens Triumph Over Heartland Queens in NWFL Super Six Matchday 3 Clash

In a thrilling encounter at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Edo Queens emerged victorious over Heartland Queens with a commanding 3-1 win during Matchday 3 of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six.

The match saw Edo Queens' Chioma Moses open the scoring with a goal in the 34th minute, setting the tone for her team's dominant performance. Kafayat Mafisere extended their lead with another goal in the 39th minute, showcasing Edo Queens' offensive prowess. Despite a valiant effort from Heartland Queens, Emem Essien sealed the victory for Edo Queens with a goal in the 47th minute.

Although Heartland Queens managed to pull one back with Emmanuella James finding the net in the 69th minute, it was not enough to overcome Edo Queens' lead.

The win revitalizes Moses Aduku's side's pursuit of domestic glory, reigniting their aspirations for success in the NWFL Super Six tournament. With six points from three games, Edo Queens are now well-positioned in the competition.
