Bayelsa Queens and Cameroonian Goalkeeper Bawou jet out for 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Play-off

By Oladele Emmanuel - Bayelsa Queens and Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon Goalkeeper Ange Gabrielle Bawou has left his club for the upcoming 2023 FIFA World Cup play-off in New Zealand.

Ange Gabrielle Bawou is expected to be in goal when Cameroon face Thailand on Saturday February 18th in their first game.

Cameroon and Senegal are the two African countries in the play-off.

Ten teams are participating in the playoff to battle for the remaining three spot of the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, which kicks off in July, Australia and New Zealand are the host Nations.
