The teams that advanced are; Senegal, Netherlands, England, United States, Argentina, Poland, France, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Spain, Croatia, South Korea, Brazil, Switzerland and Portugal.

Meanwhile, Ecuador, Qatar (Host), Iran, Wales, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Denmark, Germany, Costa Rica, Belgium, Canada, Cameroon, Serbia, Ghana and Uruguay have all been eliminated.
