16:00 - Southgate drop five against Italy

England Manager Gareth has dropped five players of his 28-man squad against Italy in the UEFA Nations league which hold later this evening. The manager required to bring down his matchday squad from 28 to 23 he's eligible to use during the game, hence, the following players have been dropped from the Three Lions' matchday squad against Italy, they are;

Ivan Toney, Ben Chilwell, Marc Guehi, John Stones and Jordan Henderson.

England will face Italy this evening in the UEFA Nations League at 19:45 WAT (+1 GMT)

14:00 - Arsenal forward Saka, wins player of the year award

Arsenal Forward Bukayo Saka has won England men's player of the year award for the 2021/22 season.

Saka beat second-placed West Ham's Declan Rice and third-placed England Captain Harry Kane based on votes by the public.

Despite missing a penalty in Euro2022 final against Italy, Saka was in superb form for his country, he scored in the world cup qualifying game against San Marino, and Andorra, home and away.

13:31 - Traore linked with a move away from Wolves

Italian Giants Juventus have been linked with Wolves winger Adama Traore who is currently unsettled in his current team.

According to Tutto Juve Insist, an Italian outlet, the Serie A side have been monitoring the winger for some time and could offer him a contract during January transfer window.

The Spanish International current contract at Wolves will expire at the end of this campaign, this may see him signing a pre-contract with the Old Lady and join the team as a free agent at the end of the season.
