AS FAR of Morocco Knock Remo Stars out of CAF Confederation Cup

By Emmanuel Oladele - AS FAR of Morocco has knocked Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Remo Stars out of 2022/23 season of the CAF Confederation Cup. The Moroccan side defeated Remo Stars by 1-0 in the second leg of the first preliminary round on Sunday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Nigeria. Lone goal from Joseph Guede Gnadou in the 55th minute of the second half made the difference.

Recall, the first leg of the encounter ended 1-1 in Rabat, Morocco, with today's result, the fixture ended 2-1 on aggregate in favour of AS FAR of Morocco.

AS FAR has progressed to the next round after beating Remo Stars 2-1 on aggregate, and Remo Stars has been knocked out of this season CAF Confederation Cup.
