Super Falcons of Nigeria Wallops Burundi, Finish 2nd in Group C, Set Quarter-Final Date with Cameroon - Morocco 2022 WAFCON

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Sunday night walloped Burundi by 4-0 in their final group game of the ongoing 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Rasheedat Ajibade gave Nigeria the lead in the 25th minutes from the spot before midfielder Peace Efih doubled Nigeria's lead in the 28th minute. One minute later Uchenna Kanu added another goal for Nigeria to end the first half with a 3-0 scoreline in favour of Nigeria.

At the resumption of the second half, it was Uchenna Kanu who scored again to complete the 4-0 thrashing of Burundi on Sunday. See detailed Result below;
