Morocco beat Burkina Faso in 2022 Women AFCON Opener and Details of Today's Fixtures

By Emmanuel Oladele - Morocco on Saturday defeated Burkina Faso by 1-0 in the opening game of the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Rabat.

Moroccan midfielder Ghizlane Chebbak scored a superb goal in the 29th minute of the first half to give the host a 1-0 lead in which they held on to until the end of the first half.

The second half of the game produced no goal as the 2022 WAFCON opener ended 1-0 in favour of Morocco. See match details below;
