Chelsea may lose Pulisic as Klopp consider the Winger as Mane Replacement

By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea may be losing their star winger Christian Pulisic to Liverpool this summer as the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is considering the American as replacement for Bayern Munich bound Sadio Mane.

The deal may go through before the close of the summer transfer window considering the following factors;

• Christian Pulisic want more playing time at Chelsea, which he has not been getting, a switch to Liverpool may guarantee the 23-year-old more playing minutes. According to Pulisic, "As far as right now, I'm obviously just focused on what I'm doing here. And I'm super excited to be here. And yeah, that's it,' he said.

“Of course, I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.

“I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”

• According to Daily Mail, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is an 'admirer' of the star winger. The American is one of potential replacements the Reds are considering to replace Senegalese Sadio Mane this summer.

• Pulisic price tag may go beyond the Reds budget, and Mane may also consider staying back at Anfield.

Pulisic joined Chelsea in 2019, following his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund in 2019 from Chelsea, he has made just 74 appearances for the Blues, scoring 19 goals to his credit.
