Super Eagles' Update: 22 Players now in Camp, Six still Absent - 2021 AFCON

Following the arrival of Wilfried Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo, William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Nwakali and Frank Onyeka, 22 players are now in camp. See the full list of 22 players in Camp below;

Defenders: Chidozie Awaziem (Alanyaspor FC, Turkey); Kenneth Omeruo (CD Leganes, Spain); Oluwasemilogo Ajayi (West Bromwich Albion, England); William Ekong (Watford FC, England); Olaoluwa Aina (Torino FC, Italy); Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal); Olisa Ndah (Orlando Pirates, South Africa).

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, holds between January 9 to February 6, 2022 in Cameroon and Nigeria are in Group D alongside; Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan. The Super Eagles first game will be against Egypt on Tuesday 11th January, 2022, 17:00 Nigeria Time (+1 GMT).
