The news of the demise of the high reverred royal father, came to us a rude shock, as he passed on at a time his elderly wisdom and counselling were still much needed.
A huge vacuum has been created with the demise of Kabiyesi, who was a father to all, during his five years resign as the 41st monarch of rhe ancient Ibadan.
He was a staunch supporter of the Oluyole Warriors during his lifetiime.
We take solace in the fact that he had a successful reign on the throne, before bowing out at the ripe age of 93.
The management, players and staff of 3SC, commiserate with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the entire people of the state and the indigenes of Ibadan, as well as the family of Oba Adetunji, overr the sad development, we pray that God will grant him eternal rest.
