By Emmanuel Oladele - Two Rescheduled Games were played in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 today Friday, which are Matchday 2 fixtures. Gombe United finally concluded their game they started on Wednesday and recorded a 1-0 victory over DMD FC.
In another game, Bendel Insurance played a 1-1 draw with Ekiti United, both teams will have to win their last conference games convincingly if they want to make it to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
After the games played on Friday, Niger Tornadoes still top the Group A Northern Conference while Remo Stars currently lead Group B Southern Conference after Matchday 1 and 2. See the updated Group Standings below;
The last conference games which comes up on Saturday will determine the two teams in each conference that will make it to the NPFL.
