By Emmanuel Oladele - Following the conclusion of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8, Niger Tornadoes top group A Northern Conference with five points, though were on same points with Gombe United, but were better with goals difference. Both teams also gained promotion.
On the hand, Shooting Stars top Group B Southern Conference with 7 points ahead of Remo Stars who came second with 5 points.

Niger Tornadoes, Gombe United, Remo Stars and Shooting Stars have gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes defeated Shooting Stars by 3-2 in the final of the NNL Super 8 to emerge Champions of the 2020/21 NNL season.
