By Emmanuel Oladele - Thursday night of Football was a disappointing one for Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi Leicester City as the they lost their 2-0 lead within 18 minutes in the second half, no thanks to Victor Osimhen brace that cancelled Leicester's lead and levelled the game for Napoli in the UEFA Europa League.
Ayoze Pérez opened scoring for Leicester City in the opening 9 minutes to give the Foxes a 1-0 lead and to also end the first half in favour of the English side. Barnes perfect cross from the left flank produced Perez super strike.
In the second half, Brendan Rodgers side were the first to registered another goal via Harvey Barnes super strike to take Leicester's lead to two in the 64th minute. Kelechi Iheanacho drives from the left flank and laid a superb through pass close to the box to assist Barnes goal. Five minutes later, Nigerian International Victor Osimhen lobs Foxes goalkeeper Schmeichel with a superb finish to bring Napoli back in the game.
In the 87th minute, Victor Osimhen levelled the game for the Italian side with a brilliant header, giving Schmeichel no chance to deal with the ball. A super cross from Politano produced Osimhen's brilliant header.
Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was handed a red card in the added time after receiving a second yellow card just two minutes to the end of the game.At the end of the game, it's Leicester City 2-2 Napoli, so it ended at the King Power Stadium in England on Thursday night.
