Nigeria Captain Scores Double For Barcelona in 7-0 Victory

Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala was on song as she continued to be profilic by netting a double as Barcelona run riot by whitewashing Rayo Vallecano 7-0 in the Spanish top flight on Wednesday.

The Super Falcons skipper scored in the 15th minute from close range and in the 59th minute through a well placed header to help the Cules to overpower their opponents.

Asisat Oshoala was not the only player to register her name on the scorers sheet with Jennifer Hermoso, Maria Leon, Aitana Bonmati and Alexia Putellas also found the back of the net.

With the result, Barcelona are still on top of the table with 36 points from 12 league games as they are doing all within their power to retain the League title.

Asisat Oshoala 26, has won the African Female Best Player award four times and has represented FC Robo Queens, Rivers Angels, Liverpool Ladies, Arsenal Ladies and Dalian Quanjian in the past.
