Chelsea have sacked Frank Lampard after 18 months in charge of the club

By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea have sacked their manager Frank Lampard just 18 months after taking charge of the team.

The sack came hours after Chelsea's FA cup 3-1 victory over Luton Town.

Lampard has only won two of his last eight games and his sack has been speculated by fans even before it happened, following Chelsea poor run of form in the league which has kept them in 9th position on the English Premier League log after 19 games.

Former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel has been speculated to replace Chelsea former midfielder.
