Chelsea on their way to 9th Position if these three teams win their next games

Emmanuel Oladele - Following Chelsea 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Monday in their matchday 6, the Blue are now on their way to 9th position on the English Premier League Log.

The Frank Lampard led side are currently 6th on the log, but a win for these three teams in their next match will take Chelsea to 9th position, the teams are; Tottenham, Manchester City and Southampton.

Tottenham and Manchester are currently sharing the same point with Chelsea (26 points), and Tottenham has a game at hand, while Manchester City has two. Tottenham will host Fulham on Wednesday, and a win will put three points to them ahead of Chelsea while a draw will give them one point advantage over struggling Blues.

Chelsea next game will be against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, a win for City will give Pep Guardiola's side a three point advantage over stars studded Blues, while a draw will give them a point advantage.

On the other hand, Southampton, which currently have 25 points will host West Ham today for their matchday 16, and a win will put them two point ahead of Chelsea.

The Blue have been struggling in recent time and have only managed a win in their last five Premier League Games.

A loss against Manchester City in Chelsea's next game might just push the fans to start calling for Frank Lampard sack.

Chelsea will face Manchester City on Sunday 3rd of January 2021.
